There are three types of membership at BRR: REALTOR®, Affiliate, and Unlicensed Admin/Staff membership. REALTOR® membership is available to those with an active real estate license, an active residential appraisers license, and to certified general appraisers.

Joining BRR not only provides membership to the local REALTOR® association but also to Idaho REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®.

Your license must be active with IREC and has been associated with a broker who is a member of BRR before applying.

Transferring members: You must have a Letter of Good Standing from your current association before moving forward with the application

If you will be subscribing to the Intermountain MLS, your BRR REALTOR® membership must be activated first to receive membership discounts.

Here’s what you can expect while getting set up with a BRR Membership!

  • Submit your online BRR application.
  • You will receive a “Next Steps” email from BRR’s Membership team containing your 9-digit National REALTOR® Database System (NRDS) number to access Step 2’s courses.
  • PRO TIP: You will be able to join the IMLS once you have completed BRR Step 3.

Note: Within 72 hours, a staff member will provide you with next steps via email.

Once submitted and received, the Membership team will start processing your application.

  • Within 72 hours a staff member will provide you with an NRDS number to complete two free, online courses through NAR:
  • Complete both courses with the links provided to you by the Membership team and upload the completion certificates here or email them directly to membership@boirealtors.com.
  • PRO TIP: These courses are required prior to membership activation.

Unlicensed Admin/Staff membership is available for admins and staff working with REALTOR® members of BRR, either as an employee or through an independent contractor agreement. Through this voluntary membership option, unlicensed admins and staff will receive access to a variety of benefits.

This option is for BRR membership only and does not extend to membership or benefits with Idaho REALTORS® or the National Association of REALTORS®. Because of this, unlicensed admin members are not “REALTORS®” and are therefore unable to use the term or logo to identify themselves as “REALTORS®” in any marketing or communication.
